Vision loss doesn't have to keep you from doing the things you want to do, like working, cooking, shopping, or caring for your home. We have a toolbox for you filled with easy-to-use techniques that can give you back your independence.
Our tools are simple to use and inexpensive to buy. They are as easy as using a pancake turner to find that hamburger frying in the skillet, using a needle threader to put a fish hook on the line, or using a long white cane to get to your job.
Try out some of these tools for yourself. You will find that, with practice, you can perform many tasks as quickly and efficiently without vision as you once did with it - in some cases even better. And remember, blind people themselves developed most of these tools just by using a whole lot of common sense.
