Iowa's Accountable Government Act requires state agencies to implement strategic planning and performance based planning, reports, and measures to ensure these agencies demonstrate results.

Performance Reports
The performance reports are provided in compliance with sections 8E.210 and 216B.7 of the Code of Iowa. They contain valuable information about the services the Department and its partners provided for Iowans during the past fiscal year in the areas of vocational rehabilitation, library services, and resource management.

Strategic Plan
The Strategic Plan outlines the Department's goals and strategies for the next five years. The goals and the strategies to achieve those goals are based on our mission, vision, and assessment of the Department's internal strengths and challenges as well as the external issues and opportunities to be addressed. Our Strategic Plan also aligns with priorities defined in the Governor's Leadership Agenda.
